The Assiniboine tipi is part of the Joshua Wetsit Collection and is one of the last three hide tipis in exhistence. Behind the tipi is part of the cowboy exhibit.

Here in our hills, only a century ago, massive buffalo herds roamed. In Valley County, a person is still able to find the fossilized remains of tipi rings, buffalo jumps, and artifacts of past Indian cultures. Cattle, sheep and homestead shacks can still be seen as well.
