The Valley County Pioneer Museum has a large collection of genealogical archives available to anyone wishing to look up information on their family or a family member who lived in Valley County!

Our library is a great resource for anybody looking for Montana stories and authors! We have lots of books, old and new, and a cozy space with chairs and tables to enjoy!

Library reservations for meetings are also available.  Reservations are free during business hours and there is a $50.00 fee for after hours.

We also have a vast assemblage of newspapers, even dating back to 1895! Our newspaper collection includes editions of the Glasgow Courier, Glasgow Democrat, Glasgow Times, Hi-Liner (from the Glasgow Air Force Base), Hinsdale Tribune, Hinsdale Independent, Opheim Observer, Glentana Reporter, Nashua Independent, and the Valley County News. Staff members are happy to help anybody interested in looking at a particular issue.
